Supportive team but job security feels uncertain - Anonymous employee Formulated Solutions Employee Review

Good company with nice people. A lot of potential.

There has been a lot of change in the last few years but the new management team seems to be driving a better culture.

1) Nice people to work with, collaborative, friendly and most of them conduct their every day business in a professional manner. 2) Good diversity inclusion.

1) I have worked in Formulated Solutions 18 months. I have noticed that almost every quarter of the year, the executive management decides to lay-off employees. If you want to work worry-free and fear-free of being laid off, THIS IS NOT THE PLACE TO WORK. Yesterday, they laid-off 30 employees across different departments (personnel reduction as they called as euphemism). Apparently, the Formulation Solutions is doing good financially but only the executives know the truth. Time for me to move on, I can not work in a place and worry each quarter of the year if I will be laid off (roll the dice and wait for your number). 2) Salary needs to be more competitive - lower than average pay.
