Pros

Very good learning opportunities. A lot of nice colleagues.

Cons

The layoffs after busy season were handled in a way that felt abrupt and lacking in transparency. After working extended hours during busy season, including 50+ hour weeks, employees were let go without prior warning or clear explanation. The communication was delivered solely through HR, without the opportunity to speak with direct managers, which made the process feel impersonal.

Pros

Great opportunity to develop tax and accounting skills while working with experienced professionals.

Cons

Limited exposure to different types of tax returns, and the size of the office sometimes made it difficult to gain broad experience across multiple areas.

Pros

-Great benefits, managers are supportive of employees taking their unlimited FTO. Lots of vacation time including a week off between Christmas Eve and New Year’s day, and two days off around July 4th -Flexible Spending Account, $250 quarterly -Overall nice people and nice and supportive management who tries their best with what they have

Cons

-Bonuses are really small, borderline insulting -No merit raises ever, 3%-4% increase in pay each year. Pay is much lower than other big professional services firms. -No diversity, not a single person of color on the entire digital marketing and marketing/business development team. Actually maybe one asian person. Seems weird but maybe I’m just used to diverse settings. -Hard to connect with other team members, no culture. Just work and log out.
