      Pros

      Fourth is very exciting and fast paced; the company is very inclusive with a great atmosphere and culture.There are many progression opportunities and work over the last 2-3 years has really prioritized employee training and personal development. The people who work at Fourth are absolutely fabulous and the company has a great collaborative attitude. There are lots of great benefits and social events.

      Cons

      As the company is fast paced that means that there are often tight deadlines to work towards and require a lot of focus and the ability to adapt to changing priorities, which can be challenging if that is not how you want to work. General business communication could be improved, but I am sure this is true of most businesses.

Increasing the availability and access of personal development has been a key priority over the last 2 years and we've come a long way with even bigger plans for the next year! Communication can always be improved and we will continue to implement and evaluate the effectiveness of our communities of practices, shared working groups, decision teams, huddles and company meetings in doing just this. We are moving towards a more fluid and feedback based approach to performance reviews which will definitely increase the quality and opportunities available to talk about how you are doing with us.

      Pros

      Very few pros come to mind, there were some great people on the individual contributor level I worked with across multiple teams however many left or are on their way out.

      Cons

      This is a highly toxic and disorganized work environment. Leadership’s lack of knowledge, direction, and experience is apparent. When I started, leadership was disengaged and disconnected to everything. I noticed there was a sudden and obvious change in leadership’s approach where “urgent” asks from above were being requested with little to no context. Unrealistic and changing expectations started being communicated as the norm. This caused confusion, chaos, and burn out, resulting in extremely low morale across teams. Concerns and feedback were either ignored or people were penalized/suddenly terminated for speaking up. Lastly, it doesn’t go unsaid there is no work life balance or professional boundaries here. This is a work environment that sets people up for failure and can have a serious impact on overall well-being.
