Pros

1 - Free coffee/tea/hot chocolate & fruits 2 - Pool table, darts & widescreen TV 3 - Free parking

Cons

1 - Low ball salaries. They advertise for Payroll Specialists with an opening salary of £18,000 - in comparison to the average Payroll Specialist earning £23,000+ 2 - "Wellness Scores" - These are generic scores based on how you're feeling both in/out of work. However, don't be fooled. They are a metric that will be used against you. 3 -Discriminant & Inhumane Treatment -Effectively discriminating against ethnic minorities by "forgetting" about the starter pack(s) for a new starter that was scheduled to join in 2 weeks, whilst remembering the other new starters from an ethnic majority, and remembering their starter packs. Calling in an employee one day, and the literal day after firing them by using wellness score metrics, and contradictory points of excellent work during audits, but not suited to role. Inhumanely treated as a criminal by immediate termination without notice, and allowing employee to retrieve own goods.

Pros

Very few pros come to mind, there were some great people on the individual contributor level I worked with across multiple teams however many left or are on their way out.

Cons

This is a highly toxic and disorganized work environment. Leadership’s lack of knowledge, direction, and experience is apparent. When I started, leadership was disengaged and disconnected to everything. I noticed there was a sudden and obvious change in leadership’s approach where “urgent” asks from above were being requested with little to no context. Unrealistic and changing expectations started being communicated as the norm. This caused confusion, chaos, and burn out, resulting in extremely low morale across teams. Concerns and feedback were either ignored or people were penalized/suddenly terminated for speaking up. Lastly, it doesn’t go unsaid there is no work life balance or professional boundaries here. This is a work environment that sets people up for failure and can have a serious impact on overall well-being.
