Pros
- Flexible hours (because most clients are foreign)
- Focus area of each project is different, so it's never boring
- Friendly people
Cons
- You're recruited for a Grant consultant position, but expected to work as a Grant writer.
- Base salary is low (there are bonuses for successful projects etc. but it's not something you can count on).
- You don't get paid for extra hours (and you'll have to do lots of those).
- Your working hours flexibility comes from the fact most of your clients are foreign, so you have to meet them on crazy hours. Work-life balance is awful.
- Consulting with your coworkers might get reported to your managers.
- Lots of gossip between workers of the company about coworkers.
- There aren't many promotion opportunities within the company
