If fast pace and constantly changing start-up environment is not for you, you will not enjoy Freshpair. No 401k match, older building with communal sink and bathroom. Working in online, ecomm and digital usually requires an "always on" attitude so if you don't like checking emails occasionally over the weekend this is not a good place for you.

The company is being run into the ground. The president gave the reigns to the owner of our terrible tech company (U2i) and allows him to puppet master our demise. We've spent months being asked how we "felt" and wearing different "hats" but all those psychological tactics only helped to lay off more than half the staff in the past month. Every time you turn around someone is shelling out a lie about the longevity of the company. But the truth is no one at C-level has the staff's best interest at heart. You can't do your job efficiently as you're lacking half the tools and guidance you need and coming to work everyday is a struggle. I wish I could say this is the view of one person but the truth is you can ask anyone and they will tell you exactly the same thing. If you're not stroking the owner of U2i’s ego or buying into the nonsense than you're as good as gone. It's sad because 6 months ago I would have said the outlook was bright but it's truly amazing how brash decisions, naive leadership and spiteful play can quickly change the view of a staff.
