Pros

work from home. work at corporate in Plymouth MI. They are treated special. 401K match up to 6%

Cons

Worked 50+ hours per week for 3 years. Forced to give up vacation time due to unreasonable project schedules. One marathon work period was 19 continuous days. Included 2 weekends and management was angry when we didn't work a 3rd weekend. Company is switching to SAP with European control over the US sites. One Euro manager even stated he didn't care what the change did to the business as long as they went to SAP. In the process they are targeting employees over 55. Illegal, but when you can make up anything on a performance evaluation and bring it up at anytime and then give an employee 3 months to improve, which of course doesn't meet their expectations, they walk you out the door. In 2008 when the auto industry crashed, they deducted $3500 from exempt employee salaries. Just like that, cut in pay and no raises Not a good place to work. Morale is low. Management went to the huns school of managing. benefits mediocre. Opportunities for advancement very limited

Pros

Stable company with broad global reach. Front office jobs not demanding, hybrid schedules and low expectations lead most to be 30-35 hr weeks.

Cons

At first this looks like a positive: you’ll notice that many employees have tenures of 15,20, 30 years. But that leads to a lot of group think and insular behaviors. They actually have a common statement among employees - “you’re not a Freudenberger unless you’ve been here 10 years.” Not exactly a welcoming statement to new employees. If you’d like to have your input and thoughts ignored for a decade, this is the place for you. Convinced they have great technologies, but in market terms, average technology at best. Horrific infighting between divisions. Management meetings resemble Klukluxclan meetings in terms of diversity. Pay scales below market, 401k match very weak
