Pros

-Excellent staff, both in terms of work environment and technical proficiency. -After a recent spate of layoffs, management now seems to genuinely trying to improve -Significant potential for internal advancement

Cons

-terrible siloing, individual teams and departments have no idea what other do. No sharing of information, management is not technical and doesn't understand what the job actually entails. -Not a lot of diversity. We're 95% white guys -Unrealistic quotas and expectations, especially for entry level staff. -Pay is bad. Management has stated their policy is to look up what the salary band for a given position is, then pay the bottom 25% of that.

On compensation, we are open and transparent with our salary ranges and compensation adjustment practices. Market rates are evaluated annually, and are adjusted as needed to remain competitive in each market we hire in. That said, base salaries are only one component of a team member’s total compensation. All full time team members are also eligible for Fully Managed and TELUS perks and benefits. We always want to recognize our team members for the great work they do, and we want to ensure our team members progress in their career with us. With that, we encourage team members to have weekly 1:1’s with their leaders to not just ensure that goals are met, but also to have discussions on career development, happiness levels and rate of compensation. It is our priority to make sure we are listening and acting on the concerns and suggestions of our team members, as they are the ones who help build us up as a company, and are our biggest and most valuable assets.
