Pros
The only real positive was that management accommodated my availability and did not schedule me for evening shifts, which I appreciated as a parent.
Cons
Management was consistently unprofessional and unresponsive. Concerns raised during shifts were often ignored, yet they had no issue contacting me after 11 p.m. to discuss work—completely inappropriate and disruptive.
Timekeeping was a recurring problem. I frequently worked past my scheduled time, only to have my timesheets altered to reflect the scheduled—not actual—hours. When I couldn’t clock in for four consecutive days, management still found time to post the next week’s schedule but ignored my missing hours until I escalated the issue to the regional group chat.
Favoritism was widespread. Certain coworkers could slack off or nitpick others without consequence, while others were unfairly blamed or overburdened. Cleaning and party reset duties were often neglected and left for the next shift.
I worked at Funflatables for over two years and never received a raise—not even a cost-of-living increase. That kind of treatment speaks volumes about the workplace culture.
