Pros

fun atmosphere, cool office space, great engineers

Cons

no clear expectations are set, no professional development or grooming of new personnel, there always seems to be a fire to put out, there is a clear US vs. THEM mentality between senior leaders and rest of company. Completely rude and disrespectful managers who think they are smarter and better than employees

Fuse Integration Response
5y
Fuse works hard to address the challenges presented by our rapidly growing startup environment, dynamic rapid development mindset, and pressures of meeting deadlines for development with unclear or changing requirements. We realize this can be frustrating and over the past two years we have instituted several mechanisms to facilitate communications and better planning for our team. While adapting to a combined remote and in-lab work schedule we have established 3 separate working groups focused on Communications and Vision, Opportunities and Mentorship, and Wellness. All team members are encouraged to participate in these working groups which provide an opportunity to have a voice in shaping in how our team grows to adapt to greater numbers with additional processes. These are action oriented groups – getting processes and avenues of communication in place to facilitate mentorship, career opportunities, and increased communication across all levels and aspects of our team. We welcome feedback and as we look back at our first ten years we realize that change can be hard. The next decade of Fuse is exciting as we continue to charge forward with an Agile mindset, a focus on the user, and a rapid prototyping process that is putting our products and solutions into the hands of the fleet. We continue to sprint, but have matured many processes to ensure we are working as a team, paying attention to our team and working together.

Pros

Fuse Integration is praised for its strong team culture, where engineers often feel supported and surrounded by talented coworkers. The work itself is mission‑driven, tied to defense, aviation, and tactical communications, which gives many engineers a sense of purpose and impact. Compensation is frequently described as competitive, and the environment offers flexibility along with opportunities to take ownership and move quickly. Engineers who enjoy fast‑paced, hands‑on problem‑solving tend to find the work energizing and meaningful.

Cons

The most common complaints center on inconsistent middle management, where expectations and direction can feel unclear or contradictory. Communication across teams and leadership is often described as uneven, contributing to confusion during planning or execution. As the company grows, it faces organizational growing pains, including shifting priorities and less mature processes. The pace can feel chaotic or stressful, especially for engineers who prefer structure, predictability, and well‑defined workflows
