The culture of the organization is defined by extreme ownership and independence. You are given a lot of freedom to advance the company's mission and everyone's voice is highly valued - from suggesting process improvements to shaping the company strategy. The team is incredibly impressive, yet supportive and helpful. When I was ramping up, team members readily made time for mentoring sessions, code reviews and bringing me up to speed. The team has lunch together every day. Everyone works from the office 5 days a week. This makes for a very dynamic, fast-moving environment with frequent whiteboarding and team problem solving sessions. The office itself is a very cool space.

The flip side of independence and ownership is that to thrive here you need to be very self-motivated and entrepreneurial. If you prefer being hand held and assigned tasks, this may not be the best place for you.

Working at FutureHouse has been an incredible experience. The culture here is all about collaboration and innovation. You’re encouraged to experiment, think outside the box, and truly make an impact. Leadership actually listens to feedback, which is rare, and they’re constantly improving things to support their teams—whether it’s benefits, work-life balance, or career growth. Plus, having both a wet lab and a dry lab means you get the best of both worlds—whether you're hands-on with experiments or deep into data analysis, there’s always something new to learn. The people here are some of the brightest I’ve worked with.
