      Pros

      I think it really depends on departments. Some department has flexible leave. As long as you get approved by your manager, you can get PTO. Great co-workers in the NGS team.

      Cons

      Workloads are not fairly distributed. Some people are not getting enough work when some are overwhelmed by too much work. So work and life balance are varied by person to person. No overtime pay.

      pretty good introduction to sanger sequencing platforms and molecular biology lab practices

      not growth set company. most of the workflows are very well established but difficult to innovate

      Great coworkers and flex time.

      Cons

      Management could be better. A few of team leads are unprofessional. Expectations aren’t always clearly outlined and it can be difficult to see career progression. Long hours, pay below industry standard.
