The pay is low and raises are few and far between. It appears that they only promote the individuals that they want too. The salary is low when compared to similar jobs in the area. At the time I worked there the starting wage was the Federal minimum wage of roughly $16.00/Hr. When raises did come it would be a bump up a few dollars at a time. With that pace you would have to work here for a decade to make what feels like significant salary progress. It appears to me that they only want you to stay until you get a better job somewhere else. In my opinion this causes the following things to happen. Bottom of the barrel candidates are hired for the most part (because of the low pay) then because of so few raises the good employees all leave in turn. What remains are the underperforming employees. So if you stay there long enough (as little as 3 year) you will be the most experienced and capable person on your team.
