Pros

Working here means being at the forefront of tech innovation. I'm always exploring new ideas and technologies, which keeps my work exciting and fulfilling. The sense of camaraderie at GeekyTech is incredible. Everyone is supportive, and there's a real sense of community. It's great to work in an environment where your colleagues are also your friends. The company really values my personal time. With flexible hours, I can easily balance my professional and personal life, which is a huge plus.

Cons

Working at GeekyTech means being part of a high-energy atmosphere. I'm constantly challenged and engaged, which I love, but it also means that there's hardly ever a downtime. It's great for adrenaline junkies but can be a bit much if you're not used to such a pace. I've had the opportunity to deeply dive into my area of expertise, which has been fantastic for my professional growth. However, this intense focus sometimes limits my exposure to other areas, which I occasionally miss. At GeekyTech, you're encouraged to be independent and take initiative. This has been great for developing my problem-solving and leadership skills. However, it also means that you're often navigating challenges on your own, which can be daunting if you prefer more direct supervision.

Pros

Allows you all the flexibility you could need, which means you can get good work / life balance. Before this role I had to travel around 2.5 hours a day there and back to my previous job, so I definitely appreciate not having to do that too! The team are extremely easy to get on with & helpful with work related stuff - you meet a lot of cool people with different interests, heaps of knowledge and valuable experience. There are good opportunities for progression and putting forward ideas or feedback when needed.

Cons

Can be hard to transition to fully remote work at first as it takes some getting used to, but stick with it and you will soon work out your best times to work that suit you.
