Pros

Some amazing co-workers; there are a number of colleagues that were the best in the industry.

Cons

Portion of Management leadership caused a number of issues. Accountability was preached, but people were not held accountable; Delivery was preached, but not rewarded. There were poor examples set by some Management, including erecting 'Road Blocks,' that is causing the company to stagnate in growth. My opinion is that the focus became more on short term 'lipstick' rather than long-term value. All positions are now 'standardized,' experience and seniority are not acknowledged here on any level.

Pros

Staff at "worker bee" level work hard

Cons

Senior Project management is over the top for such a small company. Focus is on administration, top management cant function without a helper, for a company so small it's not sustainable as a biz model. Too much emphasis on hiring a gender balance, reflects their lower than average pay scale which is I guess their strategy. Too much emphasis on rewarding academic standing as opposed to real life accomplishments. Advancing way too many entry level junior people (who work hard no doubt) to director status after just one year of entry level work, while hiring/using/sponging then discarding senior staff after having them train, transfer know how to these recently hired inexperienced hires.

Pros

While things started out a bit rough for me my first few months, things have been awesome since the management changes have taken place. Genalta has evolved to include a team of super exciting, diverse, and intelligent group of people. There is not a day that goes by that I'm not intellectually stimulated. Now that we have a new leadership team that no longer screams and values "work/life/balance"; I must say I'm not only more productive, but I love coming to work.

Cons

The Administration department creates programs that are designed for a Fortune 500 company. Luckily the CEO and President have been slowly been ratcheting the "make-work" corporate initiatives and less useful training sessions to more realistic levels.
