Pros

When in office there was a good balance of work and play and rewards for the company when we all worked together to accomplish goals. Office is modern and fun with a younger demographic as well.

Cons

There is a good honeymoon phase when you first start but after a while you will be asked to take on more tasks and roles and other people’s jobs after they leave and still be severely underpaid. This will all be expected to be done in the same 8 hour time frame as your original position which will also be adding more tasks at the same time. You also will be told the company is doing great and sales are better than every just to be told at the end of the year that no one is getting a raise so we can all keep our jobs. There will be burn out and breakdowns starting very early on and even when you confide in your manager not much will change in the end and sometimes any personal frustrations you might voice could be held against you. There is no growth opportunity or any planning for your future and your only option is to change teams constantly or work in two departments at a time. Structure and reorganization will be mentioned a lot but there won’t be much change and things will remain unorganized without any clear path. There will always be a new method or tool to help “make things easier and more efficient” but it will only be a couple of months before a new method or tool is put in its place and you have to try to learn how to do everything all over again. There will be times you will get accused of something without the full picture ever being taken into account which usually happens when someone from another team will go to their manager with false “concerns” about something you are working on instead of coming to you directly when you are supposed to be working together. As a result there is a blame game straight away instead of a conversation to under if the “concern” is something that really does need to be addressed or if it is an overreaction.

We take employee feedback seriously which is why we have an open door policy and always encourage employees to voice concerns to their manager, executives or to HR. We are in a growth stage as a company and are evaluating the staffing levels for each department to ensure that our teams are correctly staffed to meet the needs of the business. We have recently added multiple team members to the Submeter Billing department (as well as other departments) and are hearing positive feedback from employees on how this is helping.

Cons

With the rapid growth we’re experiencing, things move incredibly fast. Processes are constantly evolving, so you have to be comfortable with change and a bit of 'building the plane while flying it' as we scale

Pros

Great team environment - Everyone I've worked with here is genuinely helpful. When things get busy, people just jump in and help out without any drama. Makes coming to work pretty enjoyable. Solid cross-team setup - We work well with both our US and India teams daily, and the company brings the US team together at the Irvine office a couple times a year. It's nice to actually meet the people you work with face-to-face instead of just over Teams calls. Leadership that makes sense - Our CEO and management team actually follow through on our core values. It's not just for show - you see it in how everyone works together, regardless of their position. Room to grow - I've already seen a few people get promoted or move to different departments that fit them better. Management actually listens when you want to try something new, which is pretty cool. Purpose in the work - It's nice working on something that actually helps solve real problems for our clients.
