Amazing Internship Experience - Project Management Intern Geronimo Power Employee Review

Pros

A very hands-on position that redefines the importance of an internship. Duties and job specifications were more realistic to full-time company positions and set you up for an opportunity to possibly earn a position after the internship. HR was always very helpful and your apart of a big team with many useful resources.

Cons

More individualized worked rather than teamwork within your department as an intern.

Pros

- Experienced senior leadership resting on their laurels with no structure or oversight thus ignoring Director's arrogant and ignorant juvenile treatment towards help. Blaming others for their own inability to understand the work or ever evolving workload. - Pipeline of spent capital portrayed as assets that aren't proven until title insurance company tells them what they have as the firm trips over its own feet, acquiring and reacquiring the same lands that potentially are already controlled by a third party - Fake it until they make it approach and lack of pertinent metrics paired with internal promotions has morphed into high levels of incompetence at the Director level. Not asking relevant questions of their subordinates leading to misinformed and habitually poor decisions. This lack of clarity and confusion often times ended up with the wrong stakeholders taking the fall for leaders ineptitudes. - Glorified finance firm branded under the disguise as an accomplished greenwashing development company. Rudimentary understanding of land, landownership real estate at the executive level, leading to repeated inefficient acquisition practices. - Hopefully Brookfield can recognize these things before its too late
