Gilmore Partners Response

As the Managing Partner of Gilmore Partners I take a review like this seriously. I do find this an odd forum to leave feedback, positive or negative with it being anonymous. From what I can tell anyone can sign up and post about anything without repercussions (you can tell your story, but the company can’t tell theirs because they don’t know who you are?). Doesn’t really sound like a proper two-way street. In terms of your review and looking for a scapegoat that would not make any sense in our industry. Assuming this is even a real review (we have never had the job title of Talent Acquisition Specialist in our company) I would challenge you that our Management team is second to none in the industry. Perhaps your tenure at the company was short lived due to performance issues? Again it is hard to comment with this being an anonymous posting, all the same my contact details are there if you want to have a further discussion. - Andrew Stockton

Cons

Since ending my employment with Gilmore Partners, I have thought long and hard about leaving a review. I wanted it to be truthful yet not too harsh, as this is a small company that does not have all the tools and resources at their disposal like larger companies in the financial district. You can tell that Andrew is passionate about his work, genuinely interested in his employees and brings a bright and cheerful feeling to the office. However, it seems as though he keeps recruiters in place at the company to generate revenue, no matter how damaging they can be to employee morale and culture. To be honest, this place was downright toxic the overwhelming majority of the time. Recruiters often had no rhyme or reason for the criticism they projected on fellow colleagues. Sure, tensions run high in such a competitive environment but the way that male employees looked down on and spoke to their female counterparts was downright misogynistic. Representation also suffers; there have been no female executive recruiters employed with this company on a full time basis in over two years.
