Then the environment went downhill fast.
Cons
The CEO and his micro-management style. He individually approves everything - and I mean everything. There are no corporate officers, because the CEO doesn't trust anyone, even the experts he hired. No CFO, the CEO will even personally review your airfare reimbursements. No CIO - the CEO will personally determine I.T. functions to the smallest detail. The CEO will hold off on approving individual purchase orders for weeks, and then blame his employees when the shipment is late - even though it is only late because he didn't sign the purchase order until after the shipment should have arrived. How the CEO still has a company at all is a complete mystery. Terrible benefits. Run and run fast from this company.
