      Very smart, well-traveled, dedicated group of editors and staff in the office (wonderful location, too)

      Pros

      I got some additional experience, and some clips for my resume.

      Cons

      Very low pay, worked as a stringer and foreign correspondent for them for very low pay and appreciation. They put me in dangerous situations I did want to be in and asked me to work on "spec"-- to do work and place myself in dangerous situations without an assurance of being published or paid.

      Got to live in Boston, great location

      Company is a start-up; disorganized and some of the people at the top are not even experienced; at times chaotic and not so well organized
