Feels like a Family - Senior Travel Designer Glove Travel Employee Review

Working at Glove I have had the opportunity to grow with the company. I had several roles through the years and was able to choose my professional path. I have been living in 4 countries since I started working at Glove and Glove always made it easy for me to make those changes. They were patient when I moved and needed some adjusting time. There were GREAT when I had some health issues and gave me all the flexibility I needed. The atmosphere is like a big international family, with many nationalities and diverse personalities with the same goal: to provide the best travel experience for our clients, while enjoying the process. There is a positive energy in the company and the leading team, which is contagious to all of us. We are all passionate and love travelling, so there is always a lot to talk about and share.

Glove grew a lot in size, so we have to deal with more processes and the internal organization is more complicated than before. Working from home and far away is not ideal for smooth communication with the rest of the team.

I feel very lucky to form part of the Glove team over the past 9 years and have had plenty of opportunities to grow with the company. When I had my first baby and moved countries, they couldn't have been more patient and flexible with me. The team is like family, and I feel very proud to be part of it. We are all from different countries and walks of life but we share a passion for travel and customer service, and genuinely love our jobs. The owners are involved on a day to day basis and really add to the positive energy that the team has. They are kind and communicative, always pushing the human side of the workplace to make sure we have the best experience possible. Working hours are flexible, pay is competitive, and holidays are unlimited. There are amazing travel perks.

Like any job, there are more stressful moments during the year but I always feel supported by my colleagues and employers.
