Pros

Worked from home with good pay.

Cons

Very disorganized company. Owner was never honest and always evaded issues by just ranting about how great the idea of car insurance via an app was. Claims was a crapshoot, customers were basically ignored and hanged dry with no resolutions. Horrible management, employees came and went extremely quickly. Owner talked about being “open” but was never transparent and honest about the actual company situation. Pay would be occasionally delayed for days.

Pros

Very cool work space. Smart and resourceful teammates. Brilliant approach to auto insurance. Good benefits overall. Only the strong survive. Strong in work ethic, strong willed, strong minded. You can't just be good at what you do, you need to be able to back it up with results. Highly talented people come in but only the ones that really believe in the idea stick around because they know the struggle will be worth it.

Ok, so it was very heartbreaking and would really make my life difficult in the end. So after being there for about a month they decided to totally dissolve the customer support department and ended up laying all of us off. The original excuse was that we weren’t busy and that they basically over hired personnel given how slow it usually was. This was the first time I ever heard of a company laying people off simply because it was slow. I feel like if it’s slow then as a company they should make it not slow and get more customers. It wasn’t our fault that they weren’t getting enough policyholders but we were the ones that were axed and it negatively affected my life. My time here was very brief but how they went about doing this to everyone was sooooo wrong. On their website they brag about how much money they’re raising yet they still don’t have a customer support department to support their customers so that in itself is confusing because who’s supporting the “few” customers they do have??
