Pros
-The majority of the people were awesome - I worked with some really intelligent, friendly, fun, and lovely colleagues and made life-long friendships. -Really good product with tons of relevant use cases and a very impressive customer base. -International, collaborative environment, and the company as a whole, from the CEO on down, is incredibly supportive. -The company was founded with the ethos of its co-founders, who are truly some of the best people I've ever worked for. The culture did eventually change with new management, however you could definitely see the foundational members of the company always truly cared. -I learned a ton! GoContractor really helped me grow in my career, and I left a much better salesperson than when I started. -GoContractor gives you great prospects for the future, as it is a well-respected company in the industry.
Cons
-Culture changed with new management on the sales team - what was once a really fantastic culture to be a part of quickly turned into a mostly ego-and-personal-relationship-driven environment, a "boys club", if you will. -This impacted business because certain members of the team began getting (and continued to get, increasingly) preferential treatment based entirely on their prior personal relationship with management. -Sales management could be very inconsistent, constantly flip-flopping between messaging/KPIs/territory assignments, etc. -Sales management gave a lot of lip service but hardly backed anything up with substance, unless, of course, they stood something to gain from it. Whether purposeful or not, I was misled on a number of occasions.
