Pros

I have been in some startups, but Willson takes the hustle to a new level. I work at his current start-up and it's such a truism: things need to be founder led! The passion that everyone exhibits every day to reach our goal of simply just building a profitable internet business is such a joy :) And yes... a massive challenge! Compensation is MUCH higher than Glassdoor's limited/fake data. Glad I didn't look there before applying ;-) Collaboration is paramount and everyone at the company is a Slack message or lunch table away. Work/life balance is not a thing... so don't work for the guy if you want that!

Cons

This is the classic "Con" that is actually a "Pro", but with the talent bar so high, it makes recruiting more challenging. I have had to tell candidates "no" when they receive "yes" from every other interview process. This can sometime be uncomfortable when someone interviews 6 places, receives 5 offers and the place they really want to work says "not quite".

Pros

Central location in downtown Snacks were brought in by staff sometimes Dog friendly office

Cons

Please don't believe the hype; I would warn anyone who is thinking of applying or simply checking out these reviews that the majority of the positive reviews were all written at the same time and not genuine. More than likely written at the request of one of the founders, much like some of their Google reviews were written by staff. They relied too much on the term 'startup' to not only use as a crutch for its constant growing pains. The founders promoted the company as a young, thriving tech company that treated their employees well when the reality is a stark opposite. At least half of their employees that were otherwise lead to believe they had a future in the company were kept in the dark about the losses of the business and terminated without more than a day's warning. Lack of job security Unpaid overtime Disingenuous leadership Unfriendly/stressed office atmosphere Complete lack of training Disorganized
