1) A lot of internal politics because of which non deserving people get a lot perks, hikes, promotions instead of the deserving people who actually go above and beyond for the organisation. 2) When it comes to following processes, they stand at ABSOLUTE ZERO. No email communication on when or what something is to happen. For eg. Requirements will be given to you on calls and then once you implement it and if they want something different. This is what they will communicate to the founders "We gave the correct requirements to the developers, but they messed up everything". While the actual problem was that Product managers messed up. 3) Most of the reviews are fake because in my experience at this company. I am yet to meet a single person in tech team who feels satisfied at work. 4) All the internal communications happens on whatsapp. Your personal number will not be personal anymore. You will randomly be added to multiple whatsapp groups irrespective of whether you are a girl or a guy and your number will no loger be personal. Random people will tag you randomly at odd hours like 10-4 in the night or on weekends. At one point of time I was part of 30+ such groups. I had switch off my whatsapp notification and my personal number was not so personal anymore. 5) The organization does not care about employees well being. They don't care if you live or die or if your family lives or dies. We were forced to come to office during the second wave up untill the lockdown was imposed. We had to come to office when cases in Delhi were 15-20k per day. On top of that people who wore masks were asked to not wear masks inside office premises by our CTO so that other people don't worry about catching covid. The exact words were "Masks utaro apne. Baaki logon me faltu me corona ka darr failega" 6) Intentional implementation of functionalities that mess up the code. Sometimes the requirements will so weird and out of the box that that it will completely mess up the code. The opinions of developers doesn't amount to anything. Even if you try to reason with them on something that's actually gonna help the organisation they will completely shut you down. 7) HR's don't have enough power to give any kind of support to employees and they can't even look into what bothers you. They won't give an answer to your question and they will ask you to wait for a month. So basically your mental and physical health will keep getting screwed and no one will be able to support you. 8) Some shady work also happens here. Some of their apps and websites track all personal user data like all messages in phone that includes all your OTP messages, your personal messages to your loved ones, like your "I love yous" to you girlfriend of wife will be recorded in their database. Your messages from banks that shows exactly how much money is present in your bank account will be recorded in their database. They even record data like all the calls that you made, the duration of that call, the timestamp of that call. So beware before installing and trusting them or their apps for anything. 9) You will have zero work life balances. Your contract or offer letter will never mention that it's a 6 day working. It will mention 5 days. But they will force you to work for 6 days and on many occasions on Saturday nights you will end up working till 6-7 in the morning. Even after that much hard work, blood, sweat and tears that you go through, the management will treat you as garbage and disposable. 10) Founders and all the managers will treat you as if they have bought you with money and you are their slaves. Complete disrespect towards employees even after such hard work. 11) There will be unnecessary paycuts even though the company is properly funded and growing at a very high pace. You will have paycuts while the company will ask you to take interviews for new hires. The have money to hire new people, but not to pay the existing employees. These two things are completely opposite of each other. 12) While you will be asked to come to the office during covid. The COVID guidelines will never be followed. Nobody would wear a mask and they have such a small space that people will be sitting very close to you without masks. This was the reason that many people got infected in the company during the second wave and a couple of them lost their lives. They hid the news of their demise from the whole organization so that they can continue to ask people who were fortunate enough to have not loose their lives to come down to the office. They even asked people who tested positive for to come and work from office. This is wrong on so many levels. 13) You will be given very short and unrealistic deadlines. If you have to implement a feature that should ideally take 5 days to implement. You will be asked to do it in 2 days and on top of that you will be blamed for the not up to the mark code quality but they won't see their fault. I mean cum on, how can you expect us to implement it in 2 days with the perfect quality code. 14) Your offical contract will be of 5 working days but will be forced to work 6 or even 7 days and on top of that you will be expected to work late nights on each of these 7 days extending up to 3-6 in the night or shall I call it the next morning. On top of that even if you work till late night and early mornings, you will be expected to be on time the next day and people will start pinging you early in the morning and if you don't reply they will start tagging your managers in the same whatsapp group saying that you are messing up and should be asked to get in line. 15) Even though they have jira. Bug tracking will be very improper. You will be given bugs on these channels including slack, jira, whatsapp groups, whatsap dm, excels sheets and you would be expected to track all of them all and if you miss even one single bug, you will be prosecuted as if you have committed a henious crime. 16) They have the tallent of finding the wrong people for any kind of job. They will ask operations people, data entry operators to manage software projects who have no idea on how to do it and their mess up will be blamed on the developers. 17) Founders don't treat their employees with respect except for occasions like town halls that happens every 3 months or on yearly anniversary and that too with favouritism. Apart from that time, they will treat employees as if they have purchased you from a slave market and now your life is theirs to control. 18) If you are joining tech team then know this that they will provide you with poor quality laptops. The one's that hang a lot , heat up a lot and are freaking slow. Now imagine this - "poor laptops + short deadlines + no written requirements". All of them happens at the same time and your mental and physical health gets screwed over. 19) They have committed tax frauds in the past with their employees and customers alike. 20) Your PF will never reach your PF account on time. They get deposited with a delay of 6 months, which effectively means you loose big chunks of interests on your of money and effectively screwing up one of your retirement funds. LET ME MAKE ONE LAST THING CLEAR TO YOU ALL. THIS IS ME JUST SCRATCHING THE SURFACE OF WHAT'S WRONG WITH THIS COMPANY
