Pros

The people are great. Truly. Everyone cares for, supports, respects, and values one another. Your personal and family health and well-being come before the work. There is excellent life balance, especially for a company of this size. Youre afforded flexibility and the benefits are pretty good. We are working toward a mission that's worthy of supporting. Our goal is to connect students with jobs. It's a worthwhile mission/purpose. We are expected to work hard, pushed to challenge ourselves, and asked to meet some pretty big goals, but we also have fun. There are a lot of social activities and fun events throughout the work week.

Cons

There is a lot of tough competition in the industry. The work is hard and the pace is quick. The goals can be hard to meet. Internal communication could use some improvement, between departments, between management and the staff, etc. The lack of communication leads to gossip and chatter among the staff that isn't necessarily productive.

Pros

- Nice casual work environment - Lots of great people (especially on the dev team) who love what they do and care about the product and customers, despite the fact that everything they say falls on deaf ears. A great group of "work friends" to be a part of. - Quality product. There's a steep learning curve associated with working on it, but other employees are always willing to help with the learning process

Cons

- Extremely short-sighted and stubborn upper management - The people who interact with customers every day are routinely ignored - Some would rather be right than admit that someone else might know something they don't. Little work is done to try to improve the company's desperate situation. - Partly as a result of this, the company culture is somewhat negative and cynical.
