Pros

A great place for motivated, intelligent, self-starters. With an open office and a small team, being an extrovert with a positive attitude and strong communication skills will go a long way. - Be able to see your ideas and improvements implemented and make a direct impact on the success of the company - Product and marketing decisions made based on customer feedback and statistical analysis instead of political or hierarchical BS - Management is receptive to feedback and new ideas - recommended that employees maintain constructive communication - A wonderful team made up of experts ranging from customer service to sales to design. There is a wealth of knowledge for anyone who wants to learn here. Also, lots of fun to be had. - Self-expression, brainstorming, and idea-sharing is encouraged. No stuffy office culture to try to fit into.

Cons

No cons to speak of. Management is receptive to change and constructive criticism - all issues I've ever had have been addressed.

Pros

I really enjoyed working for Greenvelope. I worked as a Customer Service representative. The only reason I left was to open my own business (a barre studio), but if I ever needed a job again, I would try to get in on this company in a heartbeat! Some things I enjoyed: > the product and mission are awesome. I still use Greenvelopes every year! > learned innovative skills for customer service > problem solving kept it engaging > great team! it was fun to learn from the sales team and the designers > enhanced my computer software fluency. we utilized many different internal systems for organization, tracking, etc. > some people brought in sit/stand desks, and when the company moved to a new space, it added a yoga and meditation studio, a full kitchen, lounge areas and a conference room with skylights. Loved the diversity of spaces to work/chill. > It's RIGHT downtown, next to everything. I would always go to Urban Yoga Spa right after my shift, or sometimes during lunch. > Friday happy hours with the team were such a blast. The team would order booze in and we'd all stop work early :)

Cons

The biggest con would be parking, especially if you're coming from West Seattle (like I was). Sam was awesome and compensated me for my parking twice/week so that I could balance this job with a yoga teaching job I had.

Pros

Fun office with small team of positive employees who do good work with little guidance. Hosted Friday happy hour, kindle for all employees, bus pass, health insurance. It's a newer industry so employees are paving the way. Cool office, dog friendly, not a deadline-heavy industry, so low stress level at the office.

Cons

Lack of leadership, no upward mobility. Strict 40 hour-a-week policy. Unwillingness from leadership to expand benefits. High turnover.
