Pros

They have 2 great managers (1 in Houston, 1 in the UK). These are the only 2 managers that care about employees and it's unfortunate how much workload is pushed on them.

Cons

CONSTANT turnover DEI-obsessed culture. Lack of empathy. Lack of market understanding. below industry average pay and commission rates. Constant performance reviews Constant moving targets Investor-funded Unknown strategies regarding how to penetrate the American market. large disconnect between corporate and satellite offices. funding depleting a lot of "yes" men.

Pros

The only redeeming aspect of Gridbeyond is that CEO Michael Phelan aggressively pursues government and client expenses, which seems to be the main driver behind the company's operations. Unfortunately, this focus on profits appears to come at the expense of any genuine commitment to green energy or sustainability. Their claims about green energy are misleading and often outright lies, designed more to impress than to make a real difference.

Cons

Management is completely disconnected, with a lack of understanding of day-to-day tasks and poor communication across departments. The US market is poorly managed, with inconsistent hiring and firing practices that seem arbitrary and unfair. There is no clear career progression—employees are left in the dark about future opportunities. Excessive unpaid overtime is expected to meet unrealistic deadlines, creating a stressful environment. Processes are unstructured, leading to chaos and inefficiency. The company’s focus on bonuses for management has diverted attention from genuine growth and improvement. Overall, the company’s ethics and honesty are questionable, with many employees feeling deceived about the true nature of their work.
