Pros

Was once upon a time a great place to work. Interesting product. Intelligent and fun colleagues. Generally a lax, autonomous work environment. Competitive pay, benefits, perks. Beautiful offices. If you work hard and stay visible you can promote yourself within the company. Tech has potential but increasingly became difficult to differentiate in the competitive landscape.

Cons

Experience can vary by department, but Groundtruth was one of the most toxic and immature companies I've ever worked for. You better share the delusional views and opinions of leadership/management or else you'll repeatedly find yourself attacked, bullied, and/or let go. Often witnessed talented employees capable of making positive change repeatedly shut down or silenced. Managers lead with fear. Generally felt like there was a witch hunt happening at all times, led by witches. Many of the more respected leaders and managers have quit, or have been fired. This company is lost and is being run by extremely inadequate and ego driven leadership. Low confidence that the company will ever be able to turn things around. I didn't fully realize how toxic this company was until I left.

Pros

Remote, great benefits, FTO, low pressure

Cons

Big team, both in US and overseas, did not match the workload. Was laid off in 2023 due to company overestimating their value and offshoring jobs. They did salary scale after 1-2 months after starting, changed their compah bonus structure towards the end to allow only provide towards "high performing individuals". Company unclear on their direction nor were transparent on state of affairs even though they claimed full transparency.
