Pros

Good parking, traffic is not bad in the area, free coffee, there is not a lot else I can say...

Cons

The environment is pretty negative. While I was there I had to sit through listening to some young guys discussing the lack of "hotness" of one of their clients. I made a comment saying their discussion made me uncomfortable, then I got fired for "sending out bad waves" because apparently my not liking a sexually hostile environment is worse than the people making it a hostile environment. I've honestly never been made to feel so insulted in my life. That conversation came right after I was made to sit alone in a room with some kid who thought he was my drill sergeant. He yelled at me and made me feel like I was getting beat up, it was so bizarre. The pay is pretty low and the commissions are capped. It's probably not worth having your self -esteem and your general faith in mankind crushed.

This individual was a temp to hire so they do not even know our pay or commission structure. On her second day she heard another rep say that one of his customers "sounded" hot on the phone. We do phone sales so we don't physically see clients. The rep was talked to about his behavior and agreed to be more sensitive. This individual was let go, took it very hard, and decided to post it everywhere she could be heard.

Pros

As long as you’re ready to put in the work this place is for you. For a sales floor, it has a really nice environment. Management is hands off - as long as you’re doing your work.

Cons

Sales job, dialing , the basics to phone sales.

Pros

Short commute to the office

Cons

Where to begin... Promises made on commission that never happens. Unobtainable goals to make sure you don't hit 85% of your goal and if you don't do that then you earn ZERO commission for the month. Constant micromanaging about talk time...I worked there for 3 years and used voicemails and auto messages to keep my talk time up to keep from being micromanaged. I also had constant long chats with my vendors to keep my talk time up. It worked as I kept hitting my goal but no thanks to the talk time metric you HAVE TO HIT. Just shows the owner is beyond out of touch with how the industry works... The best part...GNS has a reputation to be the SWEAT SHOP of the industry....go ahead and ask any channel managers in the big cybersecurity space. The turnover is so bad that not a single employee I worked with is still employed and not a lot of time has passed.
