Pros

This is a great place to get started in insurance. They help you get licensed and put you on the phones in order to get experience. The benefits are fantastic and the PTO is great.

Cons

Guided, when I first started it was awesome. They were very flexible and open to a lot of ideas. They truly cared about their clients. As the growth rapidly excelerated the management started caring only about statistics. They stopped caring about clients and only about how many quotes you work, or how many calls you can take. The work life balance for salaried employees quickly went away. Working until 8, 9 nine at night was applauded and most came in on weekends. Sales does sometimes require extra hours to help clients but it became an expectation. The management in this firm is very indecisive. They constantly change processes, so much that it is difficult to keep up on top of the work load. Management does not have your back and rarely entertains ideas unless your part of the "club". Favoritism runs rampant here, and plays a key role in getting promoted. The managers have no clue what is happening most of the time. When employees leave, a lot of things fall through the cracks. Does this spund like an environment you want to bring clients into... In summary, get ready to be stressed out constantly, while having little support behind you, and good luck keeping up with expectations because they change weekly.

Pros

Incredible training managers and training process, a select few production managers are amazing people.

Cons

This job genuinely destroyed my mental health to a point at the time I felt beyond repair. The toxic office culture that goes on daily at this company alone is something I’d want to bring to light, and I hope anyone who is reading this or other reviews takes into account as they inquire into the company. You will be working 48 hours a week, with a mandatory Saturday shift once a month. You will be constantly pressured to not take your PTO, not take a sick day, and pressured throughout your whole day to be attentive and make and many calls as humanly possible. I had a manager who had no trust in their employees what so ever to the point he would lurk behind our desks constantly, we got to a point where we would have two separate hour long meetings throughout a workday to be criticized in every aspect of how we conducted our day, and then criticized further for not producing as much as other teams… There is not opportunity for advancement at all, to the point where tenured employees are either fired or kept in their same positions for three to four years. Upon leaving this role I have gained back a positive sense of mental health, I would strongly advise against applying for a Risk Advisor role at this company.
