Pros
- You can get a first-hand experience in working in an international organization - Some of the projects are super interesting - If you get lucky, you can participate in expert working groups which is a nice opportunity to see the dynamics and network, if you wish so - You get to work with people with a lot of knowledge and experience in their respective fields
Cons
- Your experience really depends on with whom/under whose supervision you work - The frequent rotation of interns means that some of the people won't even bother to remember your name - It might happen that you will be doing lots of random task with no context provided; sometimes there are just no bigger projects where interns can participate going on - Depending on your previous experience, you might feel dissapointed with doing very basic administrative tasks - again, it also depends with whom you work - Unpaid
