Professional growth and salary growth is very tough. Salaries are low to start with for many. It is tough especially if you're manager is not at the same location as you do. Most of the managers focus on only their growth, not their reportees. However great job you do you only get appreciate with no results. Personally I felt that I wasted many years thinking that they recognize next year for my aspirations. I was one of their best.
