Pros

- New projects coming in at fast speed; - Training is offered regularly on Hardware topics; - Friendly colleagues and lots of opportunity for learning;

Cons

. Extremely disruptive security layers/infrastructure that impair effective working; . Confusing and at times quite frustrating tool license management. Team had to stop mid project because licenses were not scheduled for renewal and we couldn't use any for 1-2 weeks. . Ethics issues when it comes to arranging contracts with clients (deadlines are unreasonably tight, goals are not realistic and will need to be revised later in the project); . Hardware design culture in the company is not mature (this can be a good or bad thing);

Pros

Data Center Exposure Free lunch in cafeteria at Mesa location Can have a lot of downtime Not aggressively tracking you on everything Job is not difficult

Cons

no free lunch for other locations in valley Pay could be better Only contracted to work with the data center company, HCLTech could potentially lose the contract not directly employed by data center company. No benefits if working through an agency, only paid holidays if direct HCL. Management is a bit scattered.
