Pros

Middle Management and the care management Directors were great and tried their best to support us with the ever ending changes. I enjoyed working with my coworkers and the clients. I learned something new every day.

Cons

Bottom line that care management doesn’t belong in a for profit company. HCR leadership didn’t take the time to even learn what care management is but demanded changes to “get out of the red” which meant cutting quality positions. Making profit was thrown down our throats and knee-jerk changes were constantly made to avoid the inevitable sinking ship. Quality down the tubes and felt rushed to get the billibles in. HR is a JOKE. Benefits are awful and I’m still fighting a medical bill for preventative care 8 months later.

Pros

flexibility! Great peer support to ensure quality care and quality documentation is performed. Lots of room to grow professionally and they hire within for promotions! I love my job with this company, plan on retiring from HCR. Management goes out of their way to make sure staff is supported.

Cons

driving in the winter (but its part of the job). 401K could be better, benefits could be better

Pros

You can work flexible hours and the Director is very down to earth

Cons

I started there during the pandemic and I felt overlooked in training. Communication with supervisors was horrible so a lot of expectations were unclear. On top of that you just have an impossible caseload and are judged by what percentage of contacts you reach by a certain time in the month and that became way too stressful.
