Advancement opportunites are the number one reason for working for HEI. There are many areas one can expand one's experience into as long as you display the drive and motivation to doing so. Management is open to ideas on innovation and streamlining especially from those in the 'trenches'. Employee morale is really good to use an old cliche it really is a family like atmosphere and as such there is always a lot of support when you need it. It is not only a job it is actually a life style. With HEI you will travel to parts of the USA you didn't even know existed and you will grow as a result of these unique experiences.

"Not working is not an option" ever....direct quote from management. The job is time intensive and you must be always ready to go, go, go. I suppose that to be fair it is the nature of the work to be in continous motion but at times it can really be overwhelming. As a result of this there really is not much of a balance in terms of work/life issues. You can only take time off in the most extreme of circumstances and even then it is often clear that you create a vaccum with your absence and others must pick up the slack. The compensation is decent and fair but compared to other companies in the same buisness it is not particularly lucrative.
