Pros

Before the product team turned upside down and design and research team mostly left the company we had a lot of diversity. There were smart experienced people talking about customer experience. Our meetings showed a lot of diversity in the people on the teams. That's the work place I like to work in with a lot of different types of people.

Cons

The design team is down to only3 or 4 people, who I rarely see, and the research team is gone, and the product managers who cared about customers are gone. I don't know why anyone stays here. I learned so much from the research director and especially liked how she worked with engineering and helped everyone. I liked working with and hearing from the design managers and head of design and designers and felt demoralized when they all left. I loved working with the product managers and engineers who showed interest in customer experience. I felt horrible when I heard and read about what has been said to women and how women have been treated. This is now company of people who are very similar. Kurt Cobain said it well "they laugh at me because I'm different. I laugh at them because they're all the same."

Pros

Management will not tell you how to do your job They (everyone) are open to ideas, just need a good pitch A bunch of smart people wherever you look

Cons

You will rarely chat with the top 3 layers of the organization. They are open and can chat with them, but truth is that they are always busy and the preferred way of communication is through your manager.

Pros

The people are great, it's what makes the company special. Exciting traction in the market to go with it.

Cons

Prioritization is a struggle, and Hover will always jump at large customer requests without thinking through all the implications. Projects that might take longer than a quarter are rarely prioritized.
