About me:
HSL is a fantastic organisation to work for. I am currently working for HSL and have been employed here for over 9 years. I was the 17th store to open. I love my staff, and have strong working and personal relationships with employees throughout the business. HSL has helped me become the person I am today, I started off a shy, timid young girl. Over time my confidence has grown massively and I have helped trained new starters, and provided training sessions to help those in need.
Management:
My Area Manager is phenomenal, she is fully supportive and fantastic at what she does, nothing is ever too
much trouble. she goes above and beyond for all l, even those she may not be familiar with, she has a heart of gold.
Our Head of retail does an excellent job ensuring all staff are fulfilling their job roles and always open to feedback to help make
improvements for our staff and our customer experience a memorable one.
New Starters:
Training academy’s for new starters are provided, which is fabulous I learnt so much about myself and why HSL do what they do.
Working hours: The working hours at HSL are fantastic, for retail 9-5 is unheard of.
HSL I can honestly say is a fabulous place to work, I love coming to work because each day is different, I’m a people’s person I love meeting new people.
Cons
The rate of pay is not great. The majority of organisations who work within sales are commission based, but their set salary is still higher payed than ourselves. I don’t like the idea of commission based, but I think an increase in the salary would be appreciated by all.
