Pros

The people... the dwindling number of individuals from the companies they've acquired. Now, most of the management team are type c personalities with no background in tech or even managing people, so any ideas or improvement requests are seen as threats.

Cons

They acquired several different companies very rapidly with no plan on how to integrate, let alone where to take the product. Everything is built on something else and nothing talks to each other. Bootstrapped to the point of "working". It was really sad to be on one of the companies that got bought out. They had a great culture, product, and team with tons of customer growth/happy customers. I loved it there. The moment HST took over.. everything stalled and was completely disorganized.. like planning a company meeting and not knowing where we're all actually going to meet until the night before (we all live in different states). The culture was awful, management was hostile and clients were furious daily. I brought several pain points with solutions to their attention multiple times. Nothing was ever resolved, not even simple things. Honestly to those looking it's not worth it. Too bad Casetabs didn't say "no" to the acquisition, they could have ran circles around this company in a couple of years..
