Disaster - Anonymous employee HT Learning Centers Employee Review

There is a company in India by the same name. This review is for HT Learning Center in Fountain Valley, California, which is not affiliated in any way to the online tutoring center (that is called HT Learning Centers, studymateonline.com from India). The tutors at HTLC are very professional and friendly. Most have teaching degrees and graduate degrees. There are plenty of students to assign once you are hired, as they contract with 30 school districts, whereas I had to wait a long time in different companies to be assigned students, after I was hired.

During the academic year there is no work in the mornings. Most work is after school hours, except summer

This company is a HELL for people. If you want to blame, cry, humiliate yourself everyday then please join this so called company cum tuition classes. Management is very rude and pathetic as they will make every second of your life hell. BTL activities in front of schools everyday is the scariest part of the job. Not achievable targets are given every month and if any how you will start achieving your targets in mid of the month they will increase the target. B.tech/ M.tech/MBA people are treated as labors and forced to distribute pamphlets outside the schools, tuition, markets. No job security, they can fire you any minute by giving any lame reason. A "center coordinator" is the name given to all the freshers who join the company and then they are assigned every work to do only the office boy's work is not given. Pleas, if you are not getting any job, sit at home rather than working in HTLC. working hours are 9 hours per day but even after completing your 9 hours shift the staff is not allowed to go home if target is pending.
