Pros
The students are of an exceptional caliber and they are very hard workers. In the middle school students get 2-3 hours of homework and they complete it all, including spending time at TaeKwonDo or violin practice and hanging out with friends. The high school students are excellent writers and well prepared for college.
Cons
Hackley was a good school to work for, although the school is generally run by the parents, not necessarily the administration and teachers. There is a disconnect between the needs and desires of the students and teachers and that of the school as an institution. The school felt like an "institution" not a warm loving place where children learn.
