Pros

Management understands the value of keeping up with latest technology for software development. Allows employees to create, design and implement web development. Instead of constantly using cookie cutter applications. Management is relaxed, so relaxed you can basically not work all day (write comics, youtube & chill, watch sports) and still hold down this job. Management will allow you to "work from home" almost daily. (See above comment) Lunch & Learns Come in when you want & Leave when you want Year over Year the company is growing. 25 cent cokes! Good coding standards and practices

Cons

Bad pay policies. Be prepared to be underpaid! If you are a new developer and starting out this is a good place to learn BUT they will never pay you what your worth. They will hire people at a higher salary and then have you train them (up to a year)! People take advantage of the relaxed culture, so some employees do more work then others. Constantly changing policies and day-to-day procedures. The Insurance is a huge JOKE! The most disgusting IT bathroom I ever seen.. In fact Management had to send out an email to force employees to quit urinating on the walls. As you grow into a strong developer you will be required to Travel, Train, and Lead but 0 compensation for the added work load. Be expected to wear multiple hats but only be paid for one. Get ready to become an ArcGis developer (even though their are employees whose full-time job is to be ArcGis Developer you will still do their job and have no clue what they do and why they still given a paycheck)

Pros

- Quiet workplace environment - Relatively stable work (team dependent) - Can be a decent place to work depending on your needs/ wants

Cons

Overall, here is a summary of the company: - Some good teams- the company has some stronger departments, whereas others are not well supported in the organization - Poor benefits and compensation, slow progression/ no progression of salary, no yearly adjustments, no sick leave - Cross-team communication & collaboration were consistently very unorganized; each team is operating on very different managerial practices - The environment radiates the low-budget, value-engineered work that the company largely takes on, in terms of personalities within the office, as well as overall company morale. This will work for you if you value the stability it provides, but it will be difficult to advance in this organization if you aren't in alignment.
