Pros

I recently joined Haptiq Canada as a Software Engineer, and so far it's great! The work-life balance is actually real here, and the culture is super healthy. Projects are challenging, but the deadlines are totally reasonable. Plus, there’s no micromanagement, which is a massive plus. Can’t recommend it enough!

Limited. Good for someone who wants to understand "office politics" in a high-pressure environment.

Toxic Management Culture: The organization is heavily driven by internal politics and "boot-licking." Promotions are not based on merit but on proximity to senior leadership. Lack of Accountability: Senior management avoids taking responsibility. Even when errors are made by managers, the blame is shifted downward. There is no support system if you try to escalate genuine issues. Poor Work-Life Balance: Expect to work 14+ hours a day regularly. There is zero respect for personal time, and the environment is highly critical rather than supportive. High Turnover: Loyal and honest employees are often sidelined or terminated, while those who play the political game are promoted every 3–6 months. If you want to learn politics, this is the place for you. Otherwise, stay away. Promotions happen every few months for those who flatter the right people, while honest workers face termination. You will be expected to work 14-hour days and take the fall for your manager's mistakes. Senior leadership claims they have "no authority" to fix wrong decisions, making it impossible to get help. It has been a complete waste of a year. The work culture at Haptiq is characterized by extreme hours (14+ per day) and a lack of professional integrity. The management structure is built on favoritism; if you aren't part of the inner circle, your hard work will likely result in criticism for mistakes you didn't even commit. Reaching out to senior leadership is futile as they refuse to intervene in any managerial decisions, even when those decisions are clearly flawed. It is a highly unstable environment for anyone seeking a long-term, honest career path.
