Social side is good if you join up and an early finish on Friday, overtime available, if you want it Free parking in the centre of Bury is a bonus if you go by car. The employees are generally well informed about new contracts and future contracts. Its a good clean environment to work in. Overall a good place to work.
Cons
Health and safety!!! can be frustrating and restrictive, would be described as a bit over the top in some cases, you are encouraged to report any breach anonymously but normally its the same set of people who do this, the bonus scheme is mess and causes the most employee issues. The work is quite labour intensive, the machinery is very dated (needs to get into the 21st century). There appears to be more office workers/managers than manual workers.
