Pros
Although seasonal work based on the academic year, good for both part-time and full-time hours. Hours can include mornings, afternoons and evenings, so flexible. The company is a division of ARAMARK so includes many of the benefits that ARAMARK provides. Nice holiday and academic break times off. Most dining staff have summers off dependent upon the school year and a good opportunity to work with professionals, young student staff, graduate students and some union workers. Solid standard benefits for full-time workers.
Cons
Onsite Intercommunications and planning were lacking. Generic job titles allowed for a variety of tasks to be performed from stocking, cashiering, dishwashing, cooking, general utility, etc. There were plenty of negative issues with the point-of-sale registers.
