Pros
Has been a fully remote company since before the Covid Pandemic hit.
A small bunch of employees makes for a tight-knit family-like group who really care about each other.
Mentorship is valued and practiced.
People are always quick to lend a hand and get the tough jobs done.
Decent pay
Excellent benefits where the employee is 100% paid for
Flexible PTO
Weekly pay periods
Fun group of mostly like-minded nerds.
Cons
Small group means lots of work without a lot of hands.
Workloads can get stressful, although you can always reach out if you need anything
Healthcare means 24/7 so there are "on-call" periods, equally divided. YOu aren't called on often, but it does happen.
The learning process is long and bumpy, so your first few months are usually a little stressful, even if it is self-induced.
