Pros

Frontline team really strives to do a great job and uphold the mission of the company that ELT has seem to forgotten about

Cons

The executive leadership style, specifically the leadership that oversees the West Division, needs an overhaul. The culture that is being created is extremely toxic and bullying. Regional managers and their teams are constantly degraded in a public forum that has created fear amongst the teams. Their is a distinct relationship that has developed between the executive leadership team and HR department that leaves a space where employees don't feel that there is a safe space to speak up. Leadership is only focused on numbers and metrics, forgetting that in order to achieve these lofty goals, relationships need to be fostered and created with the provider groups and patients that we are serving. The data is extremely skewed and backdated. The data is based off of claims data that goes back 3 years, which leaves the frontline team needing to sift through in order to not be embarrassed when presenting this information to their provider offices. This work is overlooked by ELT as the focus continues to only be about numbers: number of onboarded provider offices, number of on-site visits for provider-facing employees, number of phone calls and referrals submitting for member-facing employees. The organization talks about cost of care initiatives, but when executive leaders of the West Division are pushing a different agenda, it makes it difficult for managers and their teams to navigate and prioritize. Managers are berated on senior level calls regarding these metrics, but are silenced if they bring up the discrepancies throughout the many different reports that they have to pull from. For an IT company, there is a lot of manually tracking due to the systems not functioning properly.
