Pros

They have a wfh option and stock options. There is a referral bonus but it’s gone down. The coworkers make the place more enjoyable.

Cons

They sell on the ai aspect and pay the engineers a lot when in reality the case analyst decisions affect the algorithm and the analysts also do a lot when it comes to the patients that medically need plaque analysis due to the intense process they have to follow along with a goal constantly increasing but base pay never changes. The goal has gone up 3x since I got here and the base pay has still remained the same. The analysts also have proven they provide more value shown by how strict they are penalized during internal reviews and customer complaints and often told this could directly affect a patients life. Very hard role and everyone in the department is paid under market value.

Pros

The Mission: It is incredibly motivating to come to work knowing that our technology is changing how heart disease is diagnosed. You feel the impact daily. The People: My colleagues are genuinely smart, kind, and collaborative. There is very little ego here; everyone is focused on solving problems together.

Cons

Because the company is growing and evolving, processes can sometimes change quickly. You need to be adaptable and comfortable with a bit of ambiguity as we scale.

Pros

HeartFlow is an innovative company with a strong mission, smart and dedicated employees, and meaningful work that has real impact on patient care. The pace is fast and many teams are collaborative, passionate, and deeply committed to advancing healthcare technology.

Cons

While the company has strong technology and talented employees, the environment can be challenging due to dysfunctional leadership dynamics, inconsistent decision-making, and a culture that at times feels driven by fear and favoritism. Concerns around toxic executive behavior, lack of accountability, and discriminatory practices have negatively impacted morale, trust, and employee retention.
