Pros

Management is flexible and understanding. Options of working full or part time, flexibility with scheduling when i needed. I was able to leave work at work and go home and relax, it is a job that makes me feel accomplished and move my body. I do really enjoy that it keeps me active.

Cons

The only con I can think of is that for the first few weeks it can be pretty hard, ive seen people catch on to the job super easily but for me it took a second to get it. after you do it for a while it gets easier.

Pros

If you hit your scorecard you get guaranteed hours, even if you don't work the 10 hour shift. I've been working here for a couple years, and I get free dental and decent insurance. They work with my schedule so if I need to take a day off that is not my usual day off, they never say "no". 4 days per week schedule. 3 days off.

Cons

It can be tiring at first. If you learn how to deliver you can work nearly part time and get paid for full time. The key is delivering right and driving safely.

Pros

They pay is okay, but all other DSPs offer the same pay.

Cons

As a dispatcher you are able to see true colors of a company. They look at their drivers as pawns and not people. They will hire them full time knowing those drivers will likely only get 10-20 hours a week. They have unrealistic expectations as they tell drivers “do everything exactly right or you will not have a job” but then also say “you need to go faster or you will not have a job” They tell drivers on days where it is -25 degrees, “stop blaring your heat, your van will die a little quicker” Owners are completely absent yet pretend they are active. You might hear from them on a weekly basis but you never see them. They claim to always “take the Highroad” but I’ve heard one of the owners tell their recruiter to not hire someone based on their age, which is illegal!! Oh and don’t ever ask about a 401k, last time someone did that, the group chat was permanently disabled. Benefits are so bad and Highroad has no interest in getting better ones. I could go on and on, stay away from this company. There are many more DSP’s that actually appreciate and reward hard work.
