Pros

The people who work there are good people. They are kind and helpful, and do their best to create a comfortable environment where you can speak your mind. The system they use is mostly streamlined, so tasks can be easy to keep track of, even when there is a lot on your plate. The team I worked directly with was a pleasure to work with and put in a good amount of work to stay connected and collaborate. Depending on the department you are in, the work is generally diverse and engaging. It is refreshing to be able to work with many different brands. They use a large amount of technology to keep their employees heard and connected, including an HR portal, chat, weekly check-ins, and more. Though some of these solutions can make interactions fairly impersonal, they streamline the process a ton.

Cons

Sadly, despite the messaging that Highnoon is for "trailblazers", and thaa Highnoon is willing to think outside of the box, it felt that the times that the higher management was actually willing to step outside of the box was very limited. Despite there being a 90 day probationary period at the beginning of my employment, after which I was supposed to be given consideration for a raise, it took about five months until a raise to a place me slightly above a minimum salary was considered. The expectation at Highnoon is that you will be willing to work late and work weekends if need be, which is perfectly understandable. However, if you do accept to work late or over weekends, it will become a nearly weekly occurrence from my experience. From what I know, Highnoon does not give overtime pay, so those extra hours are worked with the knowledge that you will not be given anything in return. The whole time I was working at Highnoon, there were many employees that left and had their employment terminated. I have no statistics, but it felt like a much higher turnover rate for employment than I would expect for an agency. Despite the company being fairly small, I had zero interactions with the higher management and had absolutely no relationship with them. I personally felt entirely estranged from the three CEO's. If you do choose to work at Highnoon, standing your ground and not allowing yourself to be taken advantage of by a company culture that "does it's work because they love it" and "embraces challenges that make you redefine your comfort zone" is a must.
